life-liberty-pursuit-of-coffee:
how many more fucking kids have to die in school because these selfish ass lawmakers don’t see the the importance of making stricter gun laws
What stricter gun laws would you want lawmakers to pass that would have prevented this?
Idk, maybe start with literally any restriction whatsoever for private gun sales?
Maybe ban the fucking AR-15s that have been used in so many of the country’s most deadly mass shootings?
Maybe limit the amount of ammunition a person can own, or at the very least how much they can buy at one time?
Maybe require SOME sort of permit to buy a gun, especially, again, a fucking AR-15?
Bottom line, at least 17 people were shot and killed in that high school today. 14 year old kids were texting their families to say goodbye and say “I love you” for possibly the last time. Teenagers were instructed to keep their eyes toward their feet so they wouldn’t see the bodies of their friends and classmates sprawled everywhere and their blood splattered across the walls. Kids were hiding in closets today, scared to even call 911 for fear of being too loud and alerting the shooter to their hiding spot. Today, in the span of less than an hour, parents lost their children, kids lost their friends and teachers and parents and siblings, 3,000 young students were traumatized and likely scarred for the rest of their lives.
I fucking hope we can do better than “ah, well, what can you do.”
Girls, romanticize yourselves. You are a queen. You are a warrior. You are an enchantress. You are a mermaid. You are a goddess. You are all of these things and more, you are the stuff of fairytales.
Daily reminder:
If they wanna talk to you, they will. If they wanna be with you, they will. If they wanna make things work, they will. Don’t let things be one sided. It’s not healthy, and it’s not fair to you.
Anyway I really don’t believe in second chances for cheaters like sorry but not sorry. If someone is willing to jeopardize your entire life together just to have a little temporary fun then they ain’t shit and don’t deserve you
